The skull is the upper part of the skeleton. The cranial box is divided into two parts: the vault and the floor. The vault is characterized by these forms of bone plates which are welded together by very strong, interdigitated sutures. The floor is composed of 3 different cranial pits. Indeed, there is the anterior, middle and posterior cranial pit.
